As 2025 begins, we are delighted to introduce our recently founded Foundation DaST, marking a new chapter in our lifelong commitment to fostering a sustainable future.
Drawing on decades of experience in conservation, Foundation DaST begins its journey in the small village of Torrão, where time, authenticity, landscape, heritage, culture, creativity and green economics converge to shape a resilient model for sustainable development.
With the support of academia, local community, Convento da Terra and our exceptional team – António da Costa, Carlos Bragança Santos, Jess Yu, Marc Vaz, Rita Antonieta Neves, Sammy Gao and Simon Punter – we are dedicated to inspiring meaningful change and co-designing a sustainable tomorrow for Torrão and other vulnerable villages in Portugal and worldwide.
